Yet today’s provision of care doesn’t meet the demands of an ageing population. People are quick to finish shifts on the dot, and many healthcare recruitment agencies are bound to a Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm mentality. Patients require support around the clock, yet access to reliable staff and staffing solutions remains a challenge.
Your Nurse are a healthcare recruitment agency dedicated to raising the industry standard and availability of care. To succeed, they believe in hiring the best talent and fostering long-term relationships built on advice, trust, and consideration. However, in 2022, their brand didn’t reflect their motivation. They wanted to recruit and nurture the best healthcare talent, but they needed a stronger identity to do so. After 3 years in business, it was time for Your Nurse to get serious with their identity.
Their fundamental belief in improving the standard of care in Australia led them to Dreamatic. Not only did they need help to articulate their story and core values, but their visual identity also lacked any clear direction or connection. A full brand refresh was needed to position Your Nurse as the purpose driven brand that they were.
Creative.
Before speaking with Dreamatic, Your Nurse’s visual identity was a selection of stock photography. The company were lacking an inspiring brand identity. Whilst they were successful, a lot was missing, which made their competitors more attractive to their audience groups.
Our task started with their logo and brand essence and the rest followed. The logo mark was designed to reflect their core values, with symbols that embraced togetherness. We created something that embodied internal employee relationships with candidates, and external HCP relationships with their patients. It was important that one of the first things their audience could digest was that Your Nurse are more than a service provider. They are a partner dedicated to achieving better outcomes.
The visual identity we created for Your Nurse was a key component in communicating their brand fundamentals. Warm and inviting colours were used to reflect their caring nature, while typography was designed to be clear and easy to read, reflecting the brand’s commitment to transparency and honesty. Colours, shapes, and typography visually help to articulate their written storyline, with a colour pallet designed to reflect the care space.
Story.
At the beginning of our collaboration, Your Nurse had a great philosophy, but it wasn’t being shared. They are a company that’s highly invested, not just in its clients, but its staff and patients, so it was essential for us to infuse that concept into their storyline and creative.
With the recruitment industry often perceived as transactional, we wanted our work to change the status quo. Our mission for this brand refresh was to move Your Nurse from a company that didn’t cut through the noise, to a brand that created impact with their ‘always-on’ approach and relationship-based attitude to staffing and care. We wanted to ensure they made a positive impact on the healthcare industry by developing a story that resonated with the needs and challenges of their target audience.
However, creating a purpose-driven brand was not just about coming up with a catchy tagline or a compelling logo. It was about creating a brand that would continue to inspire and motivate both employees and candidates to make a difference. To achieve this, we challenged what differed them from other recruitment agencies. We reshaped their fundamentals; their brand purpose, mission, vision, and values, and we built a story that articulated exactly what they did.
